Lato is a collection of unique ceramic vases, featuring forms in a wide range of colour variations. Lato is an exploration of texture and colour – variations on the simple language of dots, dashes and lines.
The series is defined by an interplay with the natural, unglazed material. Coloured clay is enriched with a hypnotic tactile texture. Cut lines, dashes and dots interact with colour, creating an additional, highly sensory layer. The vibrant patterns are balanced by the minimalist, calm forms of the vases.
